Luego de pasar por Wath Is This? y Walk The Moon, Natasha, Alain y Jack se unen para iniciar un nuevo proyecto que marcaria un precedente en la historia del rock alternativo. Este disco es bastante más funk y cercano al sonido de RHCP que sus posteriores trabajos. Lo anterior se explica poruqe la producción principal del disco estuvo a manos de Eric "ET" Thorngre (y no de la banda), quien no logro plasmar con fidelidad el sonido rudo que alcanzaba Eleven en sus presentaciones en vivo.
