Hace aproximadamente 2 años, y casi en conjunto con el inicio d este blog dedicado a Alain Johannes y Natasha Shneider se anuncio la salida de un nuevo material de Brody Dalle, llamado Spinnerette. Nadie imaginaba lo que seria esperar tanto tiempo...y como dice el Dios del Sonido, Ed Vedder..."The Waiting drove me mad"...

Pero finalmente esta aqui, es tangible y esta listo para ser escuchado. A disfrutar!!

SPINNERETTE LANZARA SU PRIMER EP (AL FIN!!)

Para este 11 de Diciembre se ha programado el lanzamiento oficial del primer material en estudio de la banda liderada por Brody Dalle y escoltada por Alain Johannes y Jack Irons.
Fuentes afirman que el nuevo disco estuvo inspirado fuertemente en el nacimiento de su hija y la muerte de su padre abarcando temas de perdon, salvacion y religión. Se espera que en Febrero del 2009 el nuevo album ya este en tus manos.

Hey You! How's it going, eh? Ready for the holidays and the fat man in the red suit? We're sure you can't believe that you could be dancing to Spinnerette's new Ghetto Love EP whilst slipping into a hot teddy, oops, we mean sipping a hot toddy. Well you can! Here it is in all it's long awaited glory, we're just as chuffed to pour it into your ears as you are to hear it. We know that usually EPs come after LPs but we thought we'd do it alphabetically for a change 'cos it's only right and natural, and after all, rules are meant to be broken.

Please note that we are putting this out ourselves and that downloading for free, "stealing" will mean that we might not tour as far and wide as we'd like to, due to a lack of funds...and also Santa will steal your Mom away and make her a gift wrapping slave. But seriously think about it and think about doing good and lovely things for each other, after all these are the best gifts of all. We hope you enjoy this as much as we enjoyed making it. The music files are 320 bps mp3s so you don't have to listen to those bad YouTube videos you've been excited to post. There is the indelible production done by the sweetest meat of all - Alain Johannes and a cool video made by Liam Lynch on a green screen at his house. Homemade jam tastes good, homemade jams are even better.

Se aproxima el dia D.

Recientemente se ha dado a conocer la noticia de una seria de pequeños conciertos de promoción al tan esperado disco. Lamentablemente ninguno de ellos contara con la participación de Alain Johannes ni de Jack Irons..por motivos obvios.

Besides working to get more music out to you (7", album etc), we have put our touring band together that features Brody Dalle on vocals & guitar, Tony Bevilacqua on guitar, Bryan Tulao on more guitar, Nicole Fiorentino on badass bass, and Dave Hidalgo Jr on drums. We have also booked a few small shows in and around the LA area at the end of the month. So get your tickets and your hot little butts into the clubs below!

Spinnerette - Valium knights

EL DISCO YA VIENE..LA PACIENCIA SE AGOTA.

Alguien preguntó cuanto tiempo tardaría en lanzar su disco Spinnerette. Muchos pensamos que, en vista de las circunstancias, más de lo programado.
Pero al parecer la espera no sera tanta ya que hace algunos dias se encuentra disponible en el sitio web de la banda su primer sencillo: "Valium knights".

Un agradable aperitivo para tan esperado plato de fondo.
Vamos Spinnerette...ya nos morimos de hambre!!!
