Jack Irons - Moonshine

Ten years ago Irons ventured out as a solo artist releasing his impressive and respected debut ‘Attention Dimension.’ Since that hallmark release the master drummer has released a handful of solo efforts and continues on his solo path with his latest 8-song offering entitled ‘Moonshine.’

The eclectic collection feature tracks Irons has been working on from 1995 until last year. “Haunted” was recorded and mixed in 1995 in Seattle; “Redwood” was recorded and mixed in 1998 in Northern California; while “Then and Now” was partially recorded and mixed in 1998 and added to in 2013. ‘Moonshine’ also boasts three newest tracks – “Deep and Dark;” “Outer Space Dream;” and “Earthquake” were all recorded live, although it doesn’t feel live because Irons is flawless on the drums.
